Pangea Grid has a well deserved reputation for being home to some spectacular art, and this week's visit to Treasure Island, a region built by Tutz Zabelin, is no exception!
After our visit to the Cherry Manga installation on Craft grid mentioned in the previous post, we were all ready for some more atmospheric environments, and jumping to this region to meet with some of the Pangeans - Tutz and Marlon, Lampi, Karsten, Mys, and Kitty.
There are lots of beautiful and photogenic corners to this sim, and our limited time was a virtual guarantee that we wouldn't get to explore every part of the place, but that is the point of the safari, really - you get a general idea of a place, and then you can return to inspect it in more detail with a friend, or by yourself. While we waited for everyone to arrive there was some good humor on the dock...

Tutz Zabelin: welcome to Pangea and Treasure Island. About myself: I am from Sweden and my English is not very good. Like many others I started in SL in 2006. About 10 years ago I came to Open Sim, Zandrama Grid. There I also met Marlon :). Marlon has been my mentor and mainstay during the years we have known each other and I would not have succeeded in developing as I have done without his support. Just over 3 years ago, Marlon started Pangea. We are not so many who live and are active here as Pangea is not openly free to join. Visitors are always welcome but If you want to live here, it goes through Marlon. I want to take the opportunity to send a big thank you to Kitty Sarrasine, our coder cat who purrfectly manages the operation of Pangea. Without her, we probably wouldn't make it.

Tutz Zabelin: Here on Pangea I have built about 10 small sims that you can find around sim Welcome. About 10 bigger ones and 4 bigger ones that are not published yet. Treasure Island is one of the first sims I started building here in Pangea at the request of Marlon. I was at first not so happy about building a tropical swim but that changed quickly :)).

Marlon Wayne: Where people dropped anchor in some countries, they found peace, peace and often a deep love until they set off again on the endless oceans with a farewell that stayed in their hearts forever. But endless days at sea, the carloading of the most powerful ships that brought everything and the most valuable treasures of the royal families on board and after long carboard journeys, land and our beloved dive bars were always in sight.
We kept going until we found a delicious banquet laid out on the table.... but really, there was not time to snack, since we were close to the treasure cave!
Pretty soon we were in the company of the Guardians of the Gold...
