Nothing's Nicer than Risa

Sun, sand, and spaceships. And some pretty big Horga'hns
Turns out, Lt. Worf is quite a dancer.
I met him on Risa, the planet of love. It was a romantic evening with live music by singer-songwriter Moses Rae, in RL the talented  Tom Albury - do yourself a favor, visit his Soundcloud!
Wonderful singer-songwriter Moses Rae
Risa, as many people know, is the go-to vacation planet for all Starfleet officers. it's a place of romance, naughtiness, and relaxation. It's also an amazing build on ArtDestiny Grid !
All the Destinians were on hand for the concert, Stormy and Moses, Tryad the well-known painter and of course the lovely Loru Destiny who is always such a powerhouse in the opensim community. The others at the event came from all over our opensim galaxy, from big grids like Kitely and OSGrid, to boutique places with just a resident or two.
This build by Stormy is absolutely beautiful. While she didn't make the buildings her placement of them is absolutely perfect, and the mesh land - which she did make - is a work of art. She's a pretty snappy dancer, too...
We were all utterly charmed by Moses' music. He dedicated many of his tunes to the love of his life, Stormy, and shared with us some of his own songs (one written when he was only 17) as well as cover of songs by Dylan, Simon and Garfunkel, and Richard Thompson. Absolutely melting.
Sim creator Stormy Scorpio, dancing with a lithe Andorian.
To be good at making both spaceships and otherworldly landscapes shows considerable talent and ability, and it's so fun to see both together as at this build, which is about 7000m in the sky above the region Lothlorien.
Stormy's two passions are scifi and the fantasy scenarios, which come together perfectly on this grid. The spaceships not only look great on the outside, but you an explore the interior and even take shuttles from one starship to another. It's easy to navigate the many builds here, just follow the clear signage.
Stormy Scorpio: the teleport system will take you all around to all the builds: I put more on Tir Na Nog, there is a satyr castle there now... with satyrs...(grins) be careful
"Risa" on sim Lothlorian is a build that the Safari will be visiting next season, however don't let that stop you dropping in any time to take in both the architecture and the atmosphere.
Palace on the beach, Risa
When you drop by be sure to check our the NPC dancers and discover what other Star Trek themed companions await! Risa is the perfect starting point in your ArtDestiny adventure.
