More SGT

SGT? That would be Self Guided Tours, or Trails, in Opensim.  But kind of fun a challenge too. Each of these self-guided tours is a collection of 6 HG addresses/LMs that will take you all over the hyperverse to see things linked  by a common theme like 'art destinations' (there are loads of separate tours for that, each one has the name of a color), or builds that are inspired by movies, or real places, and so on. It's not all of the builds that are out there, of course, just a sampling of the treats out there.
Avacon portals
Lots of people set up HG hubs, a particularly good example was the one that late Rudy Backerly set up on Soul Grid some time ago, continuing the hard work of Spike Sols Weltraumbahnhof.
HG Safari has a rather different approach. Instead of offering lots of portals to specific places, the idea is to make grid jumping even more portable - you can grab a pack of LMs and a notecard listing the destinations, use them at a later date, pass them to a friend and so on.
It's all pretty simple. There is a portal to the first destination in each tour, just for fun, but you don't need to use it or indeed there is no 'correct' order in which to visit the destinations.
Click on the colum to get the LMs and the notecard,
then if you want, use the portal to get off on your journey
It's a bit of a nightmare to maintain! In Opensim as you well know, change is our greatest constant. Grids go offline, people come and go, sims move position and sometimes change even grid. Just keeping up with all the changes would be a full time job.
The art trails are in a section by themselves, but work just like the others.
Judging by how many people have come to collect previous editions of the SGT notecards, it's a popular thing, and so it seemed worthwhile to update it and you can find the latest version in a couple of different places... at the clubhouse, shown above...
Expo 2 on OSCC grid has a hypergrid display
...at Expo 2 on the OSCC grid, where there is a lot of info about other aspects of the HG including some history, hardware, and hints...
and also on Safari region on Avacon.
All the hop addresses are at the bottom of this post.
Beach resorts and lovely landscapes are just too numerous to include in these themed trips. Instead these groups of places to visit focus on places where the builder has kept to a specific genre or topic in mind - and often they have done a huge amount of research to make their build even more interesting. (In other words, if someone has put up a 'China' sim and has Stonehenge as the main feature, as lovely as the sim may be, it's not included in the 'real places' tour).
Of course, new regions are constantly coming online and even among long established regions across the hypergrid it's impossible for one person to be familiar with every good build in Opensim, but hopefully if you collect the LMs from the boxes, there will be places in there that you have never visited.
