Ankhtyfy Fun

Our first stop this week was on OSGrid, a Hunt by Francophone creators   Nani ferguson and Ange Menges. It began with a bit of a hiccup, as the region kind of threw a loop when 20 people showed up. This almost never happens on Safari any more, luckily we could easily regroup at the Clubhouse and just jump back after a couple of minutes when the server pulled itself together.

Looking for this cerber-cluster was no easy task

It's difficult to say whether being with other people makes a Hunt like this easier. on one hand, if you've been searching high and low for 'a boat' which supposedly will bring you to the location of some cerbers - as shown in this clue -  it can help to go where other people are, sometimes they've just found what you're looking for. However, sometimes being in a group can lead to more confusion than help. you can jump to where people are, and sometimes that will give you

Nani Ferguson - another funny build!

Nani Ferguson looked her classic self, and seemed to enjoy watching the crew running around. Considering that there were twenty plus on the sim, it handled the group very well, though some found it didn't load very quickly. Worth a second visit to kick the server into Shape!

In truth, even if you didn't find the HUD, there is still so much to look at here, you'll still be intrigued. However, following the clues will open up a whole backstory to the characters, with the two halves of the build, dramatically different in design, clearly in deep conflict.

The hunt works this way. You wear a HUD and follow the clues, made up of a photo and a short message. Cam or walk around until you find the right place - make sure you're standing really close to any object you need to click on! and either get a prize or the next part of the puzzle.

All our lovely avatars looked kind of like cast members from this feature film, from the spooky plague doctor of Dabici, to Taarna and Nara, who looked like princesses, to Tatum and James, who looked like this might be a buddy movie. With plenty of sitting, for James, of course.
