Arts and Friends - Coming Soon

Victoria Logan's art collective on OSGrid is opening at the beginning of July, and it's not one to miss. The build is on a region named Arts & Friends which couldn't be more appropriate.
The landing point at Zona de Arte, a small black and gold skybox just above a mountain-ringed lagoon, is immediately enchanting, but also a huge contrast to the gallery you are about to visit. The theme of this show is 'Mujeres que ispiran...' - women who inspire, for their courage and talent. Time to TP down and see who's being feted below...
From the black and gold, to the greenery and rainbow colors of the region below. Landing on a central island, you'll find tps to all the exhibits, plus the dance zone and a cafeteria. Art appreciation is hungry work.
Among the artists on show (and I may have missed a couple)  are Youca GodelAzi AzCaro FayrayVictorious Oppenwall,  Deanna JanusDanger LyttonTina Bey, and of course Victoria Logan herself. Victoria has been known to define herself as a 'beginner' and 'just playing' but don't be fooled by modesty. Victoria is a mature and very talented artist in her own right, and every artwork she produces is thoughtful, bright, witty, and worth your attention.
The lagoon is a perfect framing device for this art, offering endless opportunities for photography and dozens of discoveries as you wander the VAR. The plentiful waterfalls gently animate every corner without overpowering the installations.
Simple complexity in cube form by Victoria Logan
Bright colors bring the environment to life.
Every corner draws the eye, makes you think, remember, wonder.

Victorious Oppenwall has so much going on in one sector of the lagoon that you'll be here a while taking it all in. This mermaid tableau with particles is a treat. Ideas are literally bubbling up from the coral - take a look in person, to see what that means.
'Frida Khalo' by Azi Az will catch your eye almost from the first moment. The colors are perfect, and the photo-album conceit is a magical way to convey the woman and her art.
This green and pink pavilion by Youca Godel contains images of a surreal, super-imaginative nature.
Check out Lampi's build... looks can deceive, this apparently simple and static build is a very lively, immersive installation!
Caro FayRay's approach is a delightful, didactic, prim-sculpture build celebrating some of the great women in the 20th century, including Amelia Earhart and Marie Curie.
There's more, much more to see on this build, don't miss the Grand Opening in July, contact Victoria Logan on OSGrid for more details, it's going to be wonderful!
