Wonders of Washago

Our first stop this week was on Pangea grid, predominantly but not totally German language, we were there to see a build by Lilly Topas, who has been resident on a number of grids before finding her home among friends. Due to a last minute situation, the tour was led by grid owner Marlon Wayne,  together with the gorgeous Tutz Zabelin, a talented builder herself.
Tutz Zabelin and Marlon Wayne. Nice gloves.
Sven Ingersoll: hello avatars... ah...now everyone is materialising
Marlon Wayne -> en: Good evening everyone, I would like to welcome you all to Washago. The owner Lilly Topas is unfortunately in bed with a fever. In order not to cancel the event I will show you something from Washago today. Lilly says that she will be happy to answer questions at the medieval festival in November that I can't answer today,  I'll send you the date again tomorrow. I have known Lilly since 2009
Thirza Ember: wow Marlon, a long time!
Marlon Wayne -> en: In 2009, washago was still an Indian sim. Hence the sim name. Washago means clear water in Native American. In 2010, Lilly discovered her love of the Middle Ages, she redesigned her sim... unfortunately 1 hour is not enough to discover everything but you are always welcome, so let's Start!
Thirza Ember: yay we are ready to go!
Marlon Wayne -> en: we now enter the castle of washago
Tosha Tyran: hail to the king
Forest Azure: /me curtsies
Taarna Welles: Very nice, Marlon!
Marlon Wayne -> en: with lilly almost everything has to be perfect ^^
Sven Ingersoll: so THIS is what a King looks like.
Marlon Wayne: wine... today free for all
Not entirely sure if it was a wine cellar that gradually morphed into a jail, or if the 'cells' were really just storerooms, but either way it was fun to watch the rats run by and to enjoy the luscious textures all around us. It's a place where the imagination can reign free.
Tosha Tyran: oops no key, no open door
Thirza Ember: this is where copybot people end up
Petlove Petshop: haha
James Atlloud: wait, what's copybot?
Forest Azure / brings soup
Tina Bey: Oh, the mice!
Tosha Tyran: gosh I was lost in the coal mine
Forest Azure: is there a coal mine?
Tosha Tyran: this is a fantastic build
Petlove Petshop: It's amazing for sure!
Thirza Ember: OK Marlon has moved, and so should we... unless he has left us here prisoners?

Marlon Wayne -> en: Originally, this build was made of prims, meshes were then created from this
Some of us got a bit lost, while we waited for them to catch up, how about a question for the crowd. What would you answer? Put your thought in the comments below.
Thirza Ember: if you could live in any time in history, what time period would you choose?
Forest Azure: one minute ago :)
Nara Nook: The future when we get to a utopia
Neo Cortex: Maybe in the year 2525...
Tosha Tyran: today
JamesAtlloud: excellent Nara - me too
Petlove Petshop: me three!
eva Nowicka: a great song neo :)
Wandering in the woodland is a multimedia experience.
Marlon Wayne -> en: have you switched on sounds?
Forest Azure: yes, the birds and the bees
Dings Digital: I hear some french knights cursing
Marlon Wayne -> en: the stores still have to be converted, these will soon be freebies,  you can also get married here.
Forest Azure: /me looks around for a volunteer
Petlove Petshop: does the organ work?
Thirza Ember: always a pertinent question, petlove
Tosha Tyran[de→en]: Getting married is like a dauerwelle (hair perm) ... if it doesn't work, never try again
We followed our fearless leader through halls and down staircases into a system of dark passages and chambers. It was all a bit of a blur as we ran along after him, finally coming out into the countryside.
Thirza Ember: all the medieval groups in Opensim should form some sort of alliance - that would be fun... they could have battles
James Atlloud: egad - opensim battlefront
Petlove Petshop: it could be like the superbowl
Luna Lunaria: I like sorceresses
Sven Ingersoll: they do have a certain appeal
Thirza Ember: I like sauce
Luna Lunaria: ooohhh yes sauces
Thirza Ember: what do the cards predict? a haircut for Luna
Then we were off for a hike in the countryside.
James Atlloud: A very nice path.
Thirza Ember: Marlon are these the 'sacred ways' ?
Marlon Wayne -> en: I was looking for Thirza but I think only Lilly knows...
Tosha Tyran [de→en]: This is nice here
Thirza Ember: hey even if you're lost, there is fire, food and comfy chairs
Marlon Wayne -> en: What we have seen so far has been a sim, there are a total of 4
Thirza Ember: it takes a lot of work to add so much detail
Petlove Petshop: this is a truly amazing place
James finds somewhere to sit
Tina Bey: everything very beautiful !!
Dings Digital: yes, awesome historical textures everywhere
James Atlloud: wow, I can see how good tapestry was impressive, love the blue
In one of the many rooms we visited, the book case slid to one side, revealing a further room beyond it.
Marlon Wayne -> en:  just go through the secret door
James Atlloud: but, but, in this room I hear sounds of torture!
Tosha Tyran: thousands of books and no torture :D
Nara Nook: oh books where are they?Cool! A library!
Tosha Tyran [de→en]: This is a real cozy place, I Will Stay here, no more coal mines and stairs to climb :DD
Marlon Wayne -> en: that was a short tour through Washago, I hope you enjoyed it
James Atlloud: Short?  It was amazing.  I did enjoy it.
Petlove Petshop: impressive!
Marlon Wayne -> en: if you have time come by and have a look at the other 3 sims
Lavia Lavine: Very well done!! One feels like they've gone back in time.
Alex  Salamander: Danke für die sehr gute Führung, Marlon
Max Well: I will come back, this visit was very pleasant, I love the decor
Lavia Lavine: Yes I want to see the rest
eva Nowicka: yes, thanks for the guide Marlon, congrats to Lilly and the rest of people :)
Marlon Wayne -> en: have fun on the 2nd tour
Tosha Tyran: es war ein Höllenspaß
