OSFest 2025

 This year's OSFest will be held from October 12 - 27, a shorter and a different format than past editions. It is late in the year, seasonably close to Halloween which we all know is a very busy time in Opensim, with endless parties, hunts, and Freebie freakouts, and the new OSFest format is set up with this in mind - the integration of your events in a HG-wide general 'Fest' atmosphere.

Yes, the OSfest grid still exists, with the key sims still online including Zen, Events, Welcome and HG Welcome etc, and some gigs will be held here during Osfest 2025, but anyone wishing to attract an audience back to their own home grid can do so with ease, and without feeling 'guilty' about working on a 'competing grid' as sometimes happens.

At the heart of the project is Shelenn Ayres, with much help and assistance from Rosa Alekseev, Hairy Thor, Banker Ibor, Yulan Fashion and the rest of the IMA team. Shelenn has been working hard at the coding so the online calendar can be up and running in plenty of time for people to participate. 

You must register for an account and that will give you access to book time on the calendar, and then you can choose a category depending on whether you're wanting to do an HG event on your own grid, or a tour, show, stage event, or activity to be held somewhere on the OSFest grid.

Shelenn Ayres: The live calendar  puts out notices everything the calendar changes by anyone who has signed up for an account.  The hop and hg addresses are copyable to clipboard with a click.. so easy for others to get to hg event on the page are social media links, sponsor links, modal forms etc... and ways to contact support without having to be on Discord.

If you want to be part of this hypergrid-wide event, don't delay, the website went live today. And of course, you can visit the grid also to get the feel of the place and its organizers, plus freebies and more information.
