If you're in need of some R&R, far away from the draining drama of world events, and the vociferous, but luckily not too many, angst-mongers inworld, why not take a little time to enjoy the season on Creanovale.
This grid is built by Dabici Straulino and Kelso Uxlay. They live in the French-speaking area of Canada, and their grid is based on the beautiful countryside, traditions, products and history of their part of the world.
Each year, they modify their VAR region to reflect the passing seasons, so you can experience everything from surfing to skating here, depending on when you come to visit. The sim is a resort, a wilderness and a fine collection of perfectly assembled tableaux, complete with appropriate sounds that bring the sights to life, and here and there animesh...
... making the whole thing even more enjoyable. It is easy to find your way around the build, it's set up both for people with plenty of time to spare, and those who want a more espresso dose of Canadian Calm. These Buoys are teleport devices, click on them and you'll get a list of options, but if you're walking or riding, you will find each place clearly marked and defined.
It's a mixture of inland trails, including the Misty Valley, with these mushrooms marking the entrance...
... and this woodland walk with sculptures, new to me, even though I visit most years... but this sim has so many charming corners, it may have been there all along!
One of the joys of exploring in opensim is that you've never seen absolutely everything yet, there's always more to find.
Creanovale is about sport, and art, and the artisan lifestyle, like this 'working farm' with horses and a fine herd of cattle. But these are just a few of the features; there's an underwater tour, and hiking trails that take you up on the mountains; there is a fine boat tour, and a couple of dozen cute buildings to discover and investigate.

Creanovale is clearly an ongoing work of love by Kelso and Dabici. Thanks for telling us even more about it.
