Lampi's Legends

Lampithaler Artist's latest build Cloudshead Worldheart is an enchantment of pixels. To have a heart as big as the world, to have your head in the clouds, that describes the perfect intersection between childhood dreams and artistic inspiration.

The region is all islands, of improbable shapes, and the main party is inside the biggest, almost pumpkin like, but with a distinctly bark-like feel to the outer shell.

Inside, in the base, is the dance floor where we foregathered to enjoy dome tunes ably dished out by DJ Marlon Wayne. 

Deep blue rules down here, and there's more than one mushroom adding some magic to the feel of this festival space.

Legends, fables, fairy tales, and bedtime stories - they all weave in and out of out subconscious, our shared childhood, and our specific life experience. Fundamental to joy is the ability to feel wonder, to dream and be amazed by the strangest powers of good and bad and out of the ordinary. All this helps us to grow, to find peace, and to see beyond the end of our own noses. It's good for us! 

Surrounding the central dance space are some delightful tableaux, like this one, full of a gloriously warm sparkling glow and a set of dancers with the stamina of a Scheherazade...

in another, contrasting alcove, the pixels are pixified, glacial, and crystal light.
