Jasmine's ShadowSpirit

Our first stop on Safari this week was on 2nd Sanctuary Grid. We visited here a few weeks back and met the owners Pete and Naomi, this week our wanderings bring us to the home of Jasmine Blue and her gorgeous jungly, swampy, volcanic home, ShadowSpirit. Yes, you guessed it, the HG Address is also at the end of the post.

Thirza Ember: ok that's everyone this week, a small but beautiful group

Dings Digital: it is us :)

James Atlloud: hi

George Equus: Hi to three unknown residents :-)

Thirza Ember: I think I'm dressed too warmly ! tropical paradise!

Jasmine Blue: I don't think it matters

James Atlloud: Oh me too!

Pete Taylor: well ... drop it :)

Forest Azure: oh, adult! you don't see those that much :)

Jasmine Blue: Howdy and welcome to ShadowSpirit which is located on the Second Sanctuary Grid. I am the creator of ShadowSpirit and my name is Jasmine Blue. ShadowSpirit began in November 2024 and is the first sim that belongs to me.

Thirza Ember: is this a 2x2 Jasmine?

Jasmine Blue: I believe it is Thirza

Pete Taylor: yes. its 2x2

Jasmine Blue: are we ready?

Tina Bey: yes

Thirza Ember: /checks James has his lucky crocs on ... yes

Grid owners Naomi and Pete joined us for the tour

Jasmine Blue: I wanted to make a place people could visit and enjoy. It began with a beach that became a harbor. The palm trees became a jungle. After that, the whole place just sort of evolved. There is a jungle, a hiking trail and a roller skating rink. Under the volcano is a rather large tunnel system, a dance club, some ruins, and a subterranean sea. Today, we are going to take a look at just three areas: Gaming, Seaworld, and my personal favorite, the Swamp.

Arrival on ShadowSpirit

Dings Digital: it is great that places evolve, such a wonderful experience

Forest Azure: nature does that :)

James Atlloud: Just like everything evolves

Jasmine Blue: I could not have had all this planned ahead of time

Thirza Ember: right,  but i bet the tunnels had to be planned; you can't evolve tunnels, unless you are a mole

Dings Digital: yes you can :) (though mine suck, lol)

Jasmine Blue: well, yes and no. I would plan one section at a time, A to B ... then B to C and so on

Our first stop was an ancient underground lair full of statues and sinister looking pillars. But it turned out to be a very friendly environment.

Jasmine Blue: along each side of the ruins are two long rooms filled with games

Pete Taylor: The lighting is brilliant

Thirza Ember: wow so many games! you collect them?

Naomi and Pete check out the games

Jasmine Blue: yes. I have been in opensim for I think 7 years

Forest Azure: do people play them?

Jasmine Blue: sometimes but I have not really advertised much

James Atlloud: and below a volcano!

Jasmine Blue: there in an oracle suspended over a lava pit out there

Oracle Orb: ✦ James Atlloud, the Oracle Orb swirls and speaks... ✦

Oracle Orb:   "The challenge before you is precisely the one you were built to face."

Dings Digital: James is the oracle?

James Atlloud: no, just askin' my future

Forest Azure: your future is easy

Oracle Orb: ✦ Cherry.Manga @pangeagrid.de:8002, the Oracle Orb swirls and speaks... ✦

Oracle Orb:   "Harmony is coming to a relationship that has known too much discord."

Oracle Orb: ✦ Cherry.Manga @pangeagrid.de:8002, the Oracle Orb swirls and speaks... ✦

Oracle Orb:   "What feels like an ending is, in truth, a magnificent beginning."

Jasmine Blue: we can walk to the next area

James Atlloud: Thirza!  NOOOOO!

Thirza Ember: I knew I would fall in

James Atlloud: ah, crocs are fire resistant. Poor Jasmine, Safari is breaking the suspension of disbelief.

Thirza Ember: we gotta follow Jasmine! oh secret tunnel

Jasmine Blue: this way

A tunnel hidden in the walls of a dark canyon led us down to water level where we found ourselves on a dock. From there, it was a quick leap into the water, to find another wonderland.

Naomi Volturi: WOW how wonderful Jasmine

Forest Azure: /me wished she could ride a dolphin

Nara Nook: I am in a tree. Safari is so fun

Jasmine Blue: there is also a hidden crystal tunnel down here

James Atlloud: oh, multi-passenger seahorse!  yay

Cherry Manga: heheh.. you know I love when you drive James

James Atlloud: welcome forest!

Forest Azure: /me leans sideways

Cherry Manga: poor seahorse hardly floats

James Atlloud: it is strong tho

Thirza Ember: you can get arrested for doing that to a seahorse, people

Cherry Manga: it will end as sushi, like all others, anyway

Forest Azure: /me grins... well, it IS a horse... of sorts

Cherry Manga: weeeeeee

Jasmine Blue: there are mermaid and mermen outfits available up near the entrance to this area

Tina Bey: This region is fabulous; you really get the most out of every inch of it.

Thirza Ember:  how long have you been working on this region?

Jasmine Blue: It is sort of a work in progress. Most in six months ..... but been here two years now, when I find new stuff I change things

James Atlloud: Oh yes!  finding just the right thing is difficult.

Nara Nook: Yeah I have been hunting for Okra for a week

Jasmine Blue: I like to explore every nook and cranny when I shop

Forest Azure: what i find difficult .. is resist the temptation to take it all

Jasmine Blue: okay next is the swamp... it is sort of U shaped and goes from the north side of the volcano around back and to the south side

James Atlloud: scalding!

Jasmine Blue: you can get a boat from the rezzer on the jetty

Thirza Ember: riding with cherry - was this a good idea?

Cherry Manga: feel exhausted already

Forest Azure: bumper boats!

Tina Bey: wauu yes forest

Tina and Forest a deadly pedalo team

Thirza Ember: the special effects are great... this is so much fun... we're going backwards, it's great

Cherry Manga: ahhh phantom trees perfect

Forest Azure: you're not getting sick, are you, Tina?

Cherry Manga: mouahhahaa

Francisco Koolhoven

Thirza Ember: I got a great pic of Francisco up to his knees in swamp

Tina Bey: hahahahaha I’m not enjoying it, hahaha

James Atlloud: oops, sorry for the crash Dings

Thirza Ember: When I first saw this sim, I saw all the tunnels and the dance place, I loved that, but I missed this part, it's very well done... you're a great builder Jasmine

Jasmine Blue: I had to put up signs in the tunnels, people kept getting lost

Dings Digital: oh hey, thanks for the tour - it is like in Down By Law

Cherry at the controls... Insurance nightmare

Thirza Ember: Cherry we don't have insurance, try not to hit anyone... oh too late

Cherry Manga: sorry James

James Atlloud: he he - makin' trouble

Tina Bey3D: wau eso si que estuvo muy bien

Forest Azure: not to hit? hitting is way more fun!

Jasmine Blue: and there you go. you are welcome back any time I hope y'all had a good time

Forest Azure: yes, certainly...  a great place. Jasmine!

George Equus: Nice place you got here

James Atlloud: This is so full of imagination - love it.

Dorena Bree: Wonderful Builds Jasmine

Tina Bey: Yes, a place full of surprises.

Thirza Ember: congratulations too to Pete and Naomi, your grid endured a safari visit once again and we didn't destroy it!

Jasmine Blue: Pete and Naomi are fantastic landlords!

Naomi Volturi: You have created such an overwhelmingly beautiful place here Jasmine

Jasmine Blue: I am making a Building Supply Store it is called Thistle Dew ...the store has building components .... scripts ... gadgets .... and landscaping

Francisco Koolhoven: Thanks for showing us your sim Jasmine!  Thanks to Pete and Naomi for hosting

Cherry Manga: thank you for the tour! :))
