A nice big crowd is assembling over the next few hours -Rogue Galaxy is the headline performer - for the big party happening over on AviWorlds today, at login.aviworlds.com:8002:AviWorlds Club
The reason? It's all about celebrating 5000 members of the grid!
The party is on a cute wooded island, with a super yacht moored close by, if you're in the mood for some five star floating....
but most of us were drawn to the tunes expertly spun by the lovely Candida Campese, who got the party started.

5000 is a huge number, and considering the grid is only a little more than 4 years old, and it was nice to see such a crowd of locals and outworlders come together to mark the event with grid owner Josh Boam. Here's what a few of them had to say.

LillyAnn Madruga: About Josh I can only say he was a wonderful suprise...Aviworlds meant a risk... and he conquered our trust! Josh is a very generous and dedicated guy! And Aviworlds is also one of the most beautiful grids in OS!
Pebbles Lax hasn't been here nearly so long - but she's equally enthusiastic about the platform.

AviWorlds owner Josh Boam and Lone Wolf of Wolf Territories have known each other a long time, and have a lot in common, as you can imagine - running grids offers a lot of challenges. He dropped in to bring his congratulations together with DJ Illusions

And now a word from the man himself...
Josh Boam: Well, its been a lot of up and downs. Having the opportunity to allow many people to enjoy a virtual experience how they choose is something I have always wanted.. So having 5000 Registered users makes me feel like we are doing something right.
Josh Boam: Nothing in life is perfect and that goes for any grid, we only do what we can to keep our residents happy ( hard to do sometimes - not everyone can be easy to work with ) however this is the name of the game... Ultimately it comes down to just making sure things keep going and providing top notch service when able.
