Will You Participate in 3px ?

DeReOs grid is approaching its 10th Anniversary very soon, and you're invited to participate!

DeReOs is a beautiful grid of about a hundred regions. It is home to one of the oldest dance clubs in opensim, the Blue Wave, as well as lots of art. And pretty soon, there will be even more hypergrid art on show...

Akita Sonoda: We're looking for your wildest, most beautiful, and innovative artworks for an exhibition called "3px" (pronounced: Three Pix), which we'll be opening on our Grid birthday.

Thirza Ember:  You're asking people to participate with 3 images, is that right?

Akita Sonoda: Yes, it can be hand drawn or painted, it can be AI art, or your photographic art of any kind ... Everything is welcome! Let your imagination run wild! We're asking for up to 3 pieces from anyone who wants to participate. The submission deadline is December 1st, but you can submit your art as soon as you want. 

Lys Sandbox region, with lots of freebies

This is a great opportunity for everyone in the hyperverse to better know a grid that's rich in history and content. Take, for example, LyAvain's original content - apparel, sci fi and fantasy RP accessories, and so much more. 

PSSMG Sea, part of a complex of regions with many unique freebies

Don't forget the lovely PSSMG regions of course, including PSSMG Sea, home to the iconic Arcadia Asylum Living Library.  DeReOs is a remarkable, vibrant, and resilient piece of our OpenSim heritage. And they'd like to hear from you!

Thirza Ember: What is the submission process for the 3px exhibition? Do we have to look for you inworld?

Akita Sonoda: No, not inworld. Please email your submissions to us at this address 3px-submission@proton.me What we need from you is a high quality photo of each piece of art, with the title clearly marked, and any biographical information you want to share. We'll get back to you after the submission deadline for a few more small details.

Thirza Ember: For how long will the art be exhibited?

Akira Sonoda: The Vernissage will begin at the end of January 2025 and the site will be open to public for three or 4 months.
