Yamato

 Ange Menges: Welcome to Yamato and Happy Halloween everyone! Take your time to visit the region. Note that it has two levels: a ground level where you are currently located and an underwater level. The two deserve that you go for a ride. As usual, We have prepared a quest for you. If you want to do it, get a hud by clicking on the character next to me and wear it. Then follow the instructions.

This statue in the main plaza is where you get the HUD which you may want to edit depending on the screen you're using, so that the photo it shows are big enough to see, but don't blot out too much of your screen. Find the place in the photo, go real close (10m close) and that will set off the script which will give you your next clue and a new place to search for. 

The transition from underwater to the land made the game even more challenging and rich, and it's quite hard to not get distracted by all the lovely mesh to be found here. 

The juxtaposition of ancient ruins, fantastic plants, other-worldly dwellings, and all the animal life going on especially under the sea makes it a perfect destination even if you're not all that worried about grabbing prizes.It's really a game of skill and observation, because there's just so much going on around you, identifying one object out of so many can be hard!

Then, just as the Safari crew were getting ready to play, we tripped some sort of protection and the region decided to restart - we all quickly returned to the Clubhouse.

Marlon and Tutz, looking like first class tourists (way out of the Safari league) were among the first to get back to the sim. Soon many more arrived, and pretty soon we were back to normal.

The build has a delightful mixture of architecture and swooping around with your cam, or running about, is such a great way to explore. The mill shown here is a key bit of the puzzle, although I needed help in actually finding the right place to stand and get the next clue.

Following Nara is a good Hunt strategy

Yamato Hud: find the walrus at the bottom of the sea, he is under a stone portal on a skeleton.
Thirza Ember: the walrus should be around here right?
Nara Nook: flowers
Thirza Ember: i am the walrus... where is the walrus... oh there is the walrus!!!
Yamato Hud: Yes I am the walrus ! I'm hungry! What am I eating? flowers? seashells? sand village? Type the right word in chat.(You will hear applause if ok)

The fabulous warship - hey maybe that's where the region gets its name, the names of these hunts are always esoteric - trns out it has a shop inside it, a sort of pharmacy.

I cheated a good bit, but other players like Nara Nook are really good at these games...

...so that's one of the great reasons to go with someone else, because some of the clues are open to misinterpretation. I thought the mini village meant one with only a few houses...
