Light and Drama on Pangea

Another fun event on Pangea for all who love art and enjoy good music in a vibrant, fun loving atmosphere.
Nyx Breen's show is called 'Everything Flows and is in Motion".

Pangea, a German-based grid is a fast favorite with the international art crowd, with frequent events and openings that are always fresh, innovative, and challenge the senses.
What's not to love.
The dual regions Koeln and Koeln Flora, where the event happened, are based on the real life city of Cologne, where Marlon and Lampithaler, the grid's dual dynamos, are based. The HG address, is, of course, at the end of this post, and the build is open anytime for your pleasure.
The buildings on these regions reflect that, confirming and amplifying the rl/vw crossover they cultivate here, and include, of course, the famous cathedral. Nyx Breen's opening was a case in point, as you will see.

Putri Solo, Nayx Breen, Lampithaler Artist

Combined with the marvelous singing voice of Putri Solo, the yesterday's vernissage offered the classic combo of music and dance, community and discovery.
Putri, who is from Indonesia, has a powerful, warm, and vivacious voice, and her music choices are always upbeat and welcoming - you're drawn immediately into a magical circle of dance and friendship, no wonder she has such a loyal following in opensim.
Putri Solo

This photographic installation is not your standard pics-in-a-line format, where you wander from one frame to the next. Instead, you enter a fairly anonymous looking building to find yourself in a whirlwind of color and movement. It is a massive sensory shift. Drama of the best sort!
Lampithaler and Nyx Breen on Koeln region
Nyx Breen: As always I am honored to be here at Pangea, I personally believe it is on the cutting edge of the arts in Virtual/Meta platforms - great owners, wonderful people, and creative innovative artists. I would  like to welcome all, and thank you to come and celebrate something we all share: "friendship, creativity and performance".
Nyx leads the way into the exhibition.
Lampithaler Artist: Dear friends and visitors, Nyx Breen will now open his photo exhibition. Please read what he says in the chat, then follow us in. Thanks a lot,
Nyx Breen: make sure to look up
Thirza Ember: super fireworks sounds
Marlon Wayne: where you have taken the  photos Nyx?
Nyx Breen: The photos where taken in Boston, MA. at the harbor for an event called "Harbor Fest" I have done this style or effect with other images and decided to take some with the fireworks
Tutz Zabelin
Tutz Zabelin: this looks fantastic really good, cool pictures Nix has done! I love this dark pink color
Nyx Breen: the colors on the lower section of the pictures are an area called the Seaport in Boston = mostly hi tech start up type places and great night life, so lots of color and neon there. It was a fun effect to try. It is actually fairly simple to do,  it just involves moving the camera as you hit the shutter just a little and you can come away with some unique images. Being older and hand shake helps too :). I have a few different styles of my images available for viewing at nyxbreen.com - please visit and enjoy.
Thirza Ember: I like the way it is all concentrated in a relatively small space, you make the city seem alive, on fire!
Terri Bestijl: I am always drawn in to Nyx Breen photo exhibition for some time now. I am so happy Nyx shares with all of us that loves Magical feelings.
Terri Bestjil
Nyx Breen: You can see older Boston and the skyscrapers in some, and the photos with lower buildings is the seaport area. It is dramatic with building lights neon and light reflection on the water. This was the first time I had done this effect with fireworks. I hope this encourages you to try the effect best at night with bright colorful lights
Terri Bestijl: I find that interesting Nyx,
Andremus Miklos: Lots of great work Nyx, congrats
Karsten Runningbear: thank you Nyx, great work
Lampi and Nyx and the fireworks
Thirza Ember: this is such a great mix of media, with rl, and particles, I love it
Nyx Breen: ty thirza, actually it is mesh and textures Jimmy's work, not particles.
Lampithaler Artist: It's wonderful, I love it. Great job Nyx :-)  A great evening , really fit the Music and Nyx art, and wonderful guests
Adriana Darkheart
The sensation in the room can be overwhelming, which in itself captures the sensations of being at a real life fireworks extravaganza, and we all felt that keenly.
Adriana Darkheart: it looks good but I really can't look at it for long time, I just get dizzy!
Nyx Breen: There are also 3 4x4 VAR's filled with my 3D artscapes to visit here on Pangea -  massive single piece installations 1024 x 1024, and  hundreds of meters tall. If any one cares to get some folders with LM's to my creations, please ask,  just remember to be in midnight max draw and max avatar with particles on.
Lampithaler Artist: There is so much to discover, just wonderful
Marlon Wayne, owner of Pangea Grid
Nyx Breen: anyone have a question?
Marlon Wayne: What you will build next ^^
Nyx Breen: Marlon there are at least 4 new builds over on the sims to see =  Monuments, Jazzland, Desire is an adut theme art experience... promise they will keep you satisfied...  I am getting ready to ask for a new space ! and  I hope all can join the HG Safari crew to come visit Jazzland on the 26  - that's this Wednesday at 1pm Grid time. Wait till you see the jazz -  totally mindblowing!
Lampithaler Artist: Great, and also very much to discover
Karsten Runningbear: we should change grid name to artgrid, we are glad to get so many great artists and performers in pangea
Marlon Wayne: Remember, on May 3  Terra Merhyem is opening her Sim
Lampithaler Artist: And we thank you dear Nyx, it is magical and we look forward to all that is to come. At this point I would also like to thank Marlon, Kitty and Karsten, and the entire Pangea Grid, also many thanks to all the guests
