Series Stuff

Just two stops this week on Safari, as it's high summer here in the Northern Hemisphere and lots of people are away from their desks and desktops.
Joe Builder welcomed the Safari back for some racing on his Mad Max sim.  Joe's grid Lost World is huge, and he has made dozens of different regions, in a variety of styles, many inspired by movies like Jurassic Park, Star Wars, Star Trek and more. Other builds include a biker's hangout, a fantasy world of elves and fairies, underwater adventure places and more. Not all sims are online at the same time, but if you visit his Welcome sim you will find all the portals and can either sample what is up, or Im Joe and ask him to open a region for you to visit.
I struggled with lag at Mad Max, hence a lack of photos, but I got some good ones at our second  stop, on Nara's Nook grid, where Nara and the other girls ad organized a fantastic show for us on a series of sims...
spectacular numbers float up into the sky from this part of the build, celebrating the digital age with ones and zeroes...
...while daliesque elephants stride across another landscape, reminding us of the NPIRL.
Nara and Dora, Siobhan, and Shannan are always working on ways to better share storytelling in a 3D environment. All four are authors of romances, and have come to realize that the page should not be the last resting place of narrative, and the opportunity to wander through a tale can elevate the message of a story to new heights. We wish them much success, it's a worthwhile goal!
