Karsten Runningbear: hello everyone welcome to our little airfield... we made some extra things... first please change visibility to 1024m if possible. Its a 6x6 var sim. We made airplanes usable for everyone, 2 fighter planes, which can use a race timer, or fly just for fun, a rescue helicopter, 3 waterplanes, and a Zeppelin, scenic flight with explanations.

This was our second stop of the week and what a treat!

There are lots of things to find on this sim, including a crashed UFO and a port, so it's fun to wander across the landscape whether in the air or on the ground.

Karsten Runningbear: the flying one talks german, but i can get an english one too, the tour needs 10 min.

Karsten Runningbear: we built it together, Jason made the meshes, Finja the textures, and me the scripts... many people tested

Karsten Runningbear: All self-driving vehicles have the same script., we changed chat range to 200m, so people can read us. At this place we had the after air race party

Karsten Runningbear: you can also fly through the balloon, they will burst, the idea for this sim was born after our jetski race... we first make go kart, than jetski and now this

James Atlloud: I do like the course gates.  The poles are flexi and do you change the wind on the regions?

Karsten Runningbear: yes James, only the bottom is solid

Marlon Wayne: i have ground under the feet and i live

James Atlloud: Even with a U.F.O.!!

Karsten Runningbear: the zeppelin is same, no hydrogen inside, the gates are like red bull air race

Thirza Ember: will you do the race competition every year? maybe next time more of us can participate

Karsten Runningbear: i am thinking about it, not many people joined the race, i know its not easy, you need to practise

Karsten Runningbear: ok now, lets fly, i will tell you what to do. This HUD works with every plane. I will explain it... you see E; G, C. E = engine. G = landing gear C = camera + and - is the pitch

Karsten Runningbear: you know pitch?

Forest Azure: no

Thirza Ember: pitch means or the front is up, or the back is up, correct?

Karsten Runningbear: should it rise or go down

Dings Digital: always up

Forest Azure: well, maybe not always

Thirza Ember: for me, usually the nose is pointed at the ground and i die

Star Ravenhurst: Me too Thirza. Good thing I have a bunch of lives left.

Karsten Runningbear: if you fly without doing anything, the pitch decides if you are flying for fun, no change needed... throttle you can change using page up or down

The HUD helps control the planes. It can't make you a good pilot though.

eva Nowicka: Is the simulation of the plane's speed and lift realistic? I mean... normally a plane needs to be at about 120 km/h to take off... that's impossible in OS even if you set 20x20 variable regions.

James Atlloud: Wow, look at Lampi go too!

Thirza Ember: lampi hit a house

Lampithaler Artist: I feel very dizzy — I kept spinning the whole time, though it worked surprisingly well now and then.

Thirza Ember:  I love this place, it's really imaginative - I hope you do the competition again next year,  I have a year to learn how to fly!
