Rocking on Redwood

Our second destination for this first week of season two was Neverworld, the lovely Redwood Bay, HG Address at the end of the post as usual.. This is another crucible of creativity, in keeping with the theme of our first stop, people making wonderful content in Opensim. Our ship was a classic example of legitimate crossover between SL and Opensim (you can read more about that here if you're curious) and of course the Neverworld core team of creators - people like Nexus Storm and Mr Smokes, to name but two, are legendary for their builds. The Neverworld Marketplace too is a good source of original content, another one for Moonrise's list I guess! But our focus was having a few laughs, a bit of a dance and some April Fool's fun on a lovely cruise around some of Neverworld's signature sims. Organized by the great Gundahar Bravin, we were welcomed aboard by Govega, the grid owner, and also Joshua, Nine, Kaleera, Dakota and more - Neverworld's reputation as a crowd-friendly grid was confirmed once again!

eva Nowicka: I'm wondering why Josh is carrying a machete on his back... are we in danger?

Mokey Monkey: it's a safari!

Interesting to note that when you arrive on Redwood Bay, and approach the dock, you will find there is a large orchestra playing - but they're all on the dock, not on board the ship. It makes you wonder what they know and are not sharing with the travelling public.

Thirza Ember:at our first stop, we were talking about original content makers and we forgot to name the Neverworld team! another bunch of amazing creators!

Captain Ron: shouts:  Hello Ladies and Gentlemen, this is your Captain speaking, do not be alarmed. We are stopping for about about a minute and a half to allow the crew to prepare the vessel for open seas!  If you get up to visit the bar or wander around the ship, you might want to be quick!

 If you look out the Port - or Left side of the ship, you can admire some beautiful landscapes!

Dancing allows the passengers to combine so many great activities in one. They can socialize, do some sightseeing, they are attached to the ship so they can't fall overboard, and they also get their steps in. What a perfect combination. 

Thirza Ember: this season is 10 weeks and 20 grids... so much to see and potentially go wrong 

Star Ravenhurst: It will be a blast!

Dakota Steel: Why do i get the feeling that the "potential to go wrong" is not an issue in your quest hehe

Thirza Ember: that's why I love a good Neverworld destination ! and riding around is the BEST

Gundahar Bravin: And, have you ever seen a moving venue before? It has it's advantages, just have to try to keep everyone on board!!

Kaleera Lefevre: its great so long as nobody needs a bathroom break

Thirza Ember: Yes we have been on trams, trains, planes, spaceships, liners, including the Titanic, full rigged pirate ships and smaller boats too

Forest.Azure: and horses! don't forget the horses! ... and running a lot

Govega Sachertorte: we do have a cruise here every other Tuesday at 4 pm SLT and anyone is welcomed, and we usually do themes for the holidays!

Captain Ron: shouts:  Sorry folks, we just need to wait for commercial traffic to pass, then we will be underway, it shouldn't be more than a few minutes or so. 

 Don't forget to stop by the Gift Shop after we reach the port in order to grab some great treasures to remember your adventure!

Captain Ron: shouts: :  Ladies and Gentlemen we'll be stopping one last time for about a few minutes so we can prepare the vessel for docking procedures.  Please admire the view of the beautiful Bountiful Continent and the moving Tram out the Port side windows! If you are new to Neverworld, why not consider finding your home here?  We have great things to offer our visitors, but even more to offer our loyal residents!  After the cruise, you can explore all you want, you won't find any Ban Lines here, and miles and miles of roadways and connected waterways!
